They didn't explain what happened. They just handed me the keys to the booth and sent me to the top of the Spire to collect the drifting pods.

"Standard recovery procedure," they said. But the scanners are picking up heart rates. People are awake inside those pods... and they're screaming.

They didn't tell me why. They just told me to grab the pods and ignore the vitals.
